We are hiring for candidates in the residents of Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding regions, we are open recruitment for the positions as Manager, Special Operations Unit (SOU) in our business office, TAN CHONG GROUP.

Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, & Professional Degree or even higher and greatly experienced in Accounting/Finance & Corporate Finance/Investment are especially required. We can offer you a salary that is generally between RM 6,000 - RM 9,000, which is competitive and reasonable. But no need to be worry! Job Descriptions (Summary description of the primary duties and objectives of the position.)

  • Plan and facilitate over all implementation of strategic plan covering (but not limited to) finance, operations and other aspects related to the compliance with SOP, weaknesses highlighted in audit (bothinternaland external) and regulatory requirements.
  • Detect weaknesses in financial processes and any non-conformity with the policy and procedures formalised by Group as well as the SOPs formalised within the business units.
  • Educate and guide finance operational team in business units for good corporate governance and finance practices with the objectives to instill good finance/operational processes/i n order to reduce leakages/lost and fraud activities.
  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis on finance and operational processes or any critical issues related to finance operational functions which require process improvement and corrective actions.

Job Responsibility

  • To work closely with Head of SOU to understand the challenges of the business units in business operations and accounting functions in order to plan for process improvement.
  • Assigned to provide support on financial operational support based on business units requirements related to their business issues which required attention
  • Analyse and Improve/correct finance/operational processes of the business units to align with good corporate governance and in a good practices.
  • Facilitate business units in identifying internal control weaknesses related to financial/operational processes based on potential risk assessment, audit findings and investigation report.
  • Conduct study or in-depth analysis on the root causes to assist business unit to derive corrective actions plan and to reduce the risk of non-conformity and recurrence of the same issue.
  • Assist to develop work plan for assignment based on the needs and request received from Head of SOU with projected timeline for completion.
  • Provide feedback and advisory services regarding finance operational functions and processes to the management of the business
  • Undertake any ad-hoc assignment, not limited to finance related matters, delegated by Head of SOU from time to time.

Job Requirement

  • At least 3 to 4 years of experience in business management, or finance and accounting or compliance audit. Degree holder in Accounting or Business Management or other related professional qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge in financial processes, accounting transactions and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ( G A P. Exposure and knowledge in regulatory requirements and financial analysis are an added advantage
  • Preferably experience in process gaps analysis I.e,able to identity control weaknesses for improvement.
  • Experinece in automotive industry and related industries to Tan Chong Group is an added advantage
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skill and able to work with all levels of management from different companies within the group.
  • Strong business presentation, communications and business report writing skills
  • A proactive leader with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
  • Display honest and consistent behaviour to all levels and respect people’s confidences
  • Highly driven, resourceful, meticulous, process oriented and able to work independently without supervision.
