Purpose:

Works within Rapid Hardware Group’s branding guidelines, images, components, and overall brand identity and those of our partner companies to support the marketing and new product development teams with the creation and administration of design solutions.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Innovate, create, and develop quality graphic design solutions and services within agreed timelines. The stages are:

o  Work with key stakeholders to create a complete creative brief.

o  Conceptualise layout and copy i.e., arrangement, size, type size, style, and related aesthetic concepts as per specified media and brand requirements.

o  Adjust design and copy according to direction provided by project manager.

o  Provide final finished art in suitable file format.

o  Manage the storage of graphic assets.

• Ensure compliance with Rapid Hardware Group and partner companies branding guidelines, designs, and requirements for:

o  Marketing collateral – print and digital

o  Image-based emails

o  Digital assets for web, advertising, and social media channels

o  Sales and marketing presentations etc

o  Internal communications

• Display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with proof and quality checking creatives, content, materials, and presentations and prepare final production-ready files for both print and web.

• Collaborate and liaise with the marketing team and other designers to ensure projects are delivered as per agreed timelines.

• Support the design and new product development teams with administration tasks e.g.:

o  Manage the storage of all graphic assets’ using the company’s file and naming convention protocols.

o  Review, edit, and update existing and new files/documents to in alignment with any changes to products, brands or business, including brochures, POS (point of sale), packaging etc.

Background:

• A tertiary qualification in graphic design or similar
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and web
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat) and working knowledge of the Mac platform.
• A good recent working knowledge of recent print production and technologies
