Our company, Malayan Adhesives & Chemicals Sdn Bhd is currently opening occasion for those of you who are interested in becoming a part of our company specifically Shah Alam/Subang and its surrounding areas. For those of you who are interested to be a part of our company with the position of Business Development (Sales) and able to work in the WFO (Work From Office) system with full time working hours.

We offer you a fairly competitive base salary of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 in average and can be adjusted according to the capabilities that you offer for our company and have been negotiated under HRD agreement.

Job Descriptions:
• Sales of wood adhesives, Formalin, foundry & Rockwool adhesives, and other related products with a focus on sustainability and customer satisfaction.
• Collect payment when customers’ payment falls due while maintaining good communication with them to ensure timely payments.
• Provide technical services and assist in troubleshooting on customer process problems with a team-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Develop new businesses and new customers with an innovative and value-selling approach.
• Quotes to customers based on approved prices and with convincing attitude.
• Work together with the R&D department to develop new products to meet customers’ needs while keeping learning and improving skills.
• Attend to customers’ complaints promptly and solve them with a problem-solving mindset.
• Conduct annual customers’ satisfaction survey and gather feedback to improve products and services.
• Monitor on-time delivery and take necessary actions to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Prepare daily sales report with action plan to achieve sales target.
• Conduct credit review to all customers at least once a year.
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience with good track record.
• Good communication, presentation and convincing skills.
• Well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and English.
• Posses own transport and can travel outstation with short notice.
• A self-motivated and quick learner, customer focused and wanted to be number 1.
• A problem solver with a can-do attitude and hands-on approach.
• To represent company in a professional manner and with smart and tidy appearance.
• A team player with the willingness to contribute to the success of the team.

Malayan Adhesives & Chemicals Sdn Bhd was established in 1965 as a joint-venture between the Kuok Group of Malaysia and Mitsui Toatsu Chemical Inc. of Japan. It was set up to produce and distribute a range of formaldehyde-based products to cater to the growing plywood industry.
The joint venture company now almost four decades old, has not only endured, but has indeed grown from strength to strength. Today, apart from serving the plywood industry, we also produce a wide range of adhesives and related products for various industries including, particleboard, medium-density fibreboard (MDF), inorganic insulation materials, concrete and paper manufacturing.
In 1991, the Company also formed a joint venture company, Asia Pacific Microspheres Sdn Bhd, with Union Carbide Plastics & Chemicals, Inc to produce the latter's specialty phenolic microspheres. This subsidiary has since been restructured as a division of the company following UCCP's divestment.
