We are pleased to inform you that our company office, Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd is currently seeking candidates to then join and fill the position as Mechanical Engineer and able to work under full time working hours system.
We are a competent professional company, therefore we have specific criteria for the interested candidates. We give priority to candidates who are experienced in the field of Engineering & Mechanical with a minimum Bachelor's Degree. In addition, we also prioritize candidates who are professional at work, uphold honesty, discipline in responsibility, and are capable to complete their task as well as possible.
We are offering a salary of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 for this position for interested candidates. However, this salary range can be negotiated and changed if the candidate's credibility exceeds our expectations and for sure, the agreement is adjusted to the policies of our company's HRD. What you are expected to do:
- Design, check and calculate all assigned engineering matters
- Supervise and check design drawings produced by draughtsman
- Assist senior with analysis of information, preparation of designs and calculation
- Assist with the preparation of specifications, proposals and other documentation under close supervision
- Apply a variety of design standards and techniques in solving problems
- Accountable for submitting high-quality work in wide areas including letters, reports, standard documentation, presentations, etc
- Accountable for providing all information in an articulate and organised manner within the timeframe
- Assist senior with the preparation of project costing, tender document, tendering process, award and relevant contract administration matters
- Assist senior with project management tasks including scheduling, monitoring, coordinating site progress, supervising testing and commissioning work, compilation of built drawings and O&M documents, etc
- Ensure design is compliant with the standard code of practice and authority requirement
- Ensure the BIM model achieves the minimum accuracy required by each project stage
To be successful in the role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or other relevant Engineering study
- Fresh graduates with a Second Class Upper. (First Class Honours graduates are preferred)
