We are open recruitment and happily inform you that we are looking for candidates to fill the position of Front Office Ambassador (chinese speaking) in our company, M Summit 191 Sdn Bhd. For candidates who reside in Perak and its neighboring regions, we are looking for you to be a part of us and work in our company office, and able to labor under a full time system.
We have specific requirements for each of our employees as well as potential workers, because we are a professional and knowledgeable business in the field we work in. We are interested in hearing from you as soon as possible if you have expertise in the fields Hotel/Restaurant & Hotel/Tourism and possess a Not Specified or higher.
We offer you a fairly competitive salary that can be adjusted depending on the credibility you can contribute to our company. It typically ranges from RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 and likely to change at any time. This salary negotiation must be agreed based on our company's HRD agreement.

Description
As an ambitious ambassador with a true passion for hospitality, you are always prepared for changing circumstances!
You have a sharp eye for quality and react proactively towards changing situations at the front desk. Your knowledge and experience are optimally utilized, giving you the freedom to implement your vision in consultation with The Management Team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Be an Ambassador to the Hotel creating memorable experiences for guests
• Proactively greets guests upon arrival and departure at front desk
• Register guests and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
• Book reservations for individuals, families, and groups as and when required
• Escorts VIP guest to their allocated room and explain the facilities and room features.
• Schedule special services, such as Transportation, F&B, spa treatments upon guest inquire
• Refer guests to local amenities and venues
• Obtains guest feedback on their stay in the hotel. If complaints, takes immediate actions to remedy solutions and communicating with Management
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel
• Process guess check-outs, Understands room status and room status tracking.
• Work closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work
• Knows all safety and emergency procedures, is aware of accident prevention policies
• Ensure that, whenever possible, guest receive personal recognition.
• Inspects VIP room status and amenities in good order prior to guest’ arrival.
• Promotes inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities and aware of banquet events, hotel
• Assists and coordinates with Front Office reception to ensure consistent service.
• Ensure that all daily V.I.P rooms, special guest rooms, long stay guest rooms for arrivals are blocked in advance and welcome amenities are appropriately ordered.
• Ensure that all rooms are pre-blocked accordingly to arrival time and housekeeping is informed
• Assists the team in efficiently managing the department according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service always.
• Liaises with Housekeeping and other related departments on daily operation.
• Establishes a rapport with guest maintaining good customer Relationship.
• To ensure that all guests check in and check out is being handled according to the Department Operations Manual requirements.
• Ensures that all guest information and documents are being handled in a proper manner to protect the confidentially of guest information.
• To ensure that guest’s room number is not given to unauthorized person as to ensure maximum security for the in-house guests.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
• Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/”A” Level/Pre-U or Professional Certificate
• Positive work attitude, punctual, reliable, responsible, and willing to work on shifts.
• Pleasant to disposition and good interpersonal and communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, Chinese speaking is a must.
• Knowledge of hotel reservation systems is advantage
• A team player and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Preferable age below 35 years ago
• Good communication and customer service skill
• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
• Applicant must be willing to work in Georgetown, Penang
