This position requires a contract working hours system which domiciled in Ipoh and its surroundings.

The starting salary we can offer is in a range from RM 2,600 - RM 3,200, this salary range that we offer is negotiable can change at any time according to our HRD's decision depending on the capability of the candidate can offered for our company.

Responsibilities: –

  •  As a Public Relations (PR) Executive for Perak Corporation Berhad (Perak Corp) and its properties under Hospitality & Tourism (H&T) segment, you will have a pivotal role in establishing and upholding a positive public image. Your primary responsibility will involve formulating and executing PR strategies that effectively boost brand recognition, oversee stakeholder communication, and adeptly manage crisis situations. The ultimate objective is to cultivate a favorable public perception of our organization and ensure the delivery of consistent messaging across all communication platforms.

Job Description: –

  • Devise and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns to promote Perak Corp and H&T properties, including their products, services and initiatives.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influential figures to secure positive media coverage.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials targeting specific media channels.
  • Coordinate and organize press conferences, interviews, and other media events to maximize exposure across various media platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, encompassing print, broadcast, and online media, and generate reports on PR performance and its impact to the organization on a consistent basis.
  • Serve as the spokesperson for the organization, handling media inquiries promptly and providing accurate responses.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, partners, industry professionals, and members of the community.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and senior management, to align PR efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Develop crisis communication strategies and lead their implementation to effectively manage and mitigate potential PR crises.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging PR practices to identify opportunities and propose innovative PR approaches.

Requirements: –

  • A bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a Public Relations Executive or in a similar PR role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing PR tools and platforms, such as media monitoring software, press release distribution services, and social media management tools.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current media trends, platforms, and best practices.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in crisis management is highly advantageous.
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside regular office hours, when necessary.
