Role & Responsibilities:-

• Assist the Health & Safety Manager to inspect the site to ensure it is hazard-free environment.
• Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
• Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
• implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
• Promote environmental, safety and health awareness and implement programs at work sites.
• Monitor and control subcontractor’s safety and health practices.
• Enforce the use of personal protective equipment, and continuously improve safety and health practices at workplace.
• Ensure good housekeeping at work sites.
• Conduct environmental, safety and health inspection.
• Monitor the movement of workers, materials, goods, plant and machinery into and out of the project sites.
• Assist the site personnel and workers on day-to-day implementation of the QESH management system.
• Verify all plant, machinery and equipment are adequate and safe for usage.
• Ensure adequate personal protective equipment used by all personnel at site.
• Ensure temporary structures and falseworks are checked and endorsed by qualified personnel.
• Train and carry out drills and exercises to manage emergency situations on site.
• Conduct investigation of all accidents and near-misses.
• Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior 

Requirements:-

• Candidates MUST possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• MUST be a registered Safety & Health Office with DOSH with VALID GREEN BOOK HOLDER. 
• Knowledge in legal requirements and good environmental, safety and health practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and communicate well with all parties in the construction site.
