We are open recruitment and happily inform you that we are looking for candidates to fill the position of SAFETY COORDINATOR in our company, GLADES GUPPY PACKAGING MALAYSIA SDN BHD. For candidates who reside in Kajang/Bangi/Serdang and its neighboring regions, we are looking for you to be a part of us and work in our company office, and able to labor under a full time system.

We have specific requirements for each of our employees as well as potential workers, because we are a professional and knowledgeable business in the field we work in. We are interested in hearing from you as soon as possible if you have expertise in the fields Engineering & Environmental and possess a Higher Secondary/STPM/'A' Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma, & Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or higher.

We offer you a fairly competitive salary that can be adjusted depending on the credibility you can contribute to our company. It typically ranges from RM 2,500 - RM 3,500 and likely to change at any time. This salary negotiation must be agreed based on our company's HRD agreement.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and health standards in the work place is in line with good practices and comply with OSHA 1994.
Coordinate all OSH committee meetings within the company i.e. factory and office.
To coordinate and conduct where applicable, yearly fire drill and first aid drills for premise & hostels.
To maintain proper documentation for statutory inspections.
Monitor and check the effectiveness and efficiency of the safety and health measures in the workplace, including corrective action plans.
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to management when necessary and prepare relevant reports and checklists as required by the Local Authority bodies such as DOSH, etc.
Ensure proper safety / warning signages are in place.
Conduct induction for new employees and hold toolbox meeting when required.
Collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any loss time incidents, accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning and diseases or other hazards, which have occurred at the workplace.
Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics such as noise, vibration, water and air pollution.

Job Requirement:

A certified and registered Safety and Health Officer with DOSH/JKKP
Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety or its equivalent.
Familiar with OSHA regulations and requirements. Knowledge in safety practices. Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BRCGS is an advantage.
To work closely with the local statutory bodies (eg DOSH, NIOSH, etc) to ensure compliance and update on any issues.
Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of people.
Team player
have good critical thinking and problem solving
