We are hiring! Our company is merrily looking for a candidate to fill the position of INTERIOR DESIGNER. For those of you who live in Petaling Jaya and its surrounding areas, we need you to then join our company office, Wallpaper & Carpets Distributors (M) Sdn Bhd, and able to under a full time working hours.
As a professional business with expertise in the field we serve, we have specific standards for each candidates interested to join our company. If you have experience in the field of Building/Construction & Architect/Interior Design with at least Diploma & Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, professional, honest, and disciplined, we will enthusiastically hearing from you to join our company.
We offer you the salary rates ranging from RM 3,000 - RM 5,000. The provision pertaining to the average starting initial salary we offer may change if you meet or even beyond the minimum requirement we are looking for in accordance with our company HRD agreement.

Interior Designer

You are flexible in your approach and able to create novel designs across various styles, concepts, and themes. You are comfortable with both residential and commercial work with designs that exude the ‘wow’ factor. You work well within a young team and can oversee multiple projects from start to finish with a clear focus on functionality, aesthetics, and costings. You are also driven to learn and improve while being meticulous, organized, and multi-tasking.
The Job
• Design, develop, and oversee projects from the concept stage to implementation and completion while working with various project stakeholders
• Ability to turn a design brief into fresh, functional, and original designs with thoughtful space planning while adhering to the client’s design objectives
• Adept at communicating with clients along with solid design presentation skills to justify design direction
• Proficient in creating high-quality detailed drawings along with necessary documentation
• Ability to specify the right interior materials and finishes, along with a great understanding of finish quality, specification and standards
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision and with a high sense of responsibility
• Eager to visit sites, take part in client discussions, and be involved in the material selection process to ensure accurate design reproduction and build
• Constantly keeping updated with the latest design trends – both locally and internationally – that can be incorporated into designs
The Requirements
• Possess at least a Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or any other relevant qualification
• Up to 3 years experience in a similar capacity with a track record of successfully completed projects.
•Fresh graduates will be considered if committed to learning and being a team player
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp Up and Adobe Creative
•Suite among others, along with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent in communication and collaboration with clients, teams, management and other stakeholders
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, proficiency in any other languages is preferred but not a prerequisite
• Possess own transport with a valid driving license
