We are pleased to inform you that our company office, Big Pharmacy Healthcare Sdn Bhd is currently seeking candidates to then join and fill the position as Human Resource Manager and able to work under full time working hours system.

We are a competent professional company, therefore we have specific criteria for the interested candidates. We give priority to candidates who are experienced in the field of Admin/Human Resources & Human Resources with a minimum Bachelor's Degree. In addition, we also prioritize candidates who are professional at work, uphold honesty, discipline in responsibility, and are capable to complete their task as well as possible.

We are offering a salary of RM 1,600 - RM 3,700 for this position for interested candidates. However, this salary range can be negotiated and changed if the candidate's credibility exceeds our expectations and for sure, the agreement is adjusted to the policies of our company's HRD. Job Purpose:

This role primarily develops and implement and manages the Human Resource Management System and processes to ensure effective management of our workforce. It also manages the administrative function for the HR team. It encompasses the reward and benefits framework, as well as the general HR policies of the Company.

Key Performance Areas:

Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of the people strategy to ensure integrity and fairness across the organization
  • Support the implementation of organization design and organizational restructuring
  • Provide HR support to all business units, by being a sounding board, coach and mentor

HR Process and Policy

  • Review and manage the development and implementation of all HR process, policy, procedures, practices and terms and conditions to meet legislative standards, best practices and fit for purpose
  • Proactively ensure all HR policies, processes and systems are transparent, benchmarked and conducive to build the desired culture

HR Information

  • Develop and maintain HRIS to ensure we have effective systems for managing key process – absent management, movements, turnover, etc.
  • Ensure end to end management of all administrative activities ensuring there are clear processes and everything happens on time and is kept in order
  • Develop and communicate key HR metrics that support the organization to make informed decisions

Employee Relations

  • Develop, implement, manage and review the disciplinary, grievance and appeal process ensuring compliance with due process and best practices. Ensure all letters / documentation are checked, issued, file
  • Provide support to all employees by actively encouraging an open door policy
  • Actively seek feedback from all employees on how we may improve to ensure delivery of the people strategy and organizational structure

  • Carry out an annual external benchmark and internal survey(s) to inform the reward strategy
  • Effectively communicate all changes in reward policy to the organization ensuring the messages are understood
  • Lead the administration of all benefits, ensuring fair implementation in accordance to the values of the company
  • Lead the annual pay review and bonus

  • Lead and manage the HR team effectively whilst supporting the HR Head, including setting high standards of performance for the team
  • Align all HR practices to the overall vision of the organization

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of managerial experience with at least 3 years in Recruitment, C&B and IR
  • Complete understand of C&B, payroll, labour laws, IR laws, HR system, processes, polices and bests practices
  • Having the ability to analyse problems and find effective solutions
  • Strong project management skills. Able to plan, organize and collaborate with various parties to achieve objectives / goals
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to challenge the status quo to improve current processes while supporting others to transition to the new process
  • Able to coach, mentor, facilitate and present
  • Has a high level of personal effectiveness and a high degree of integrity
  • Is proactive in driving delivery and is resilient in overcoming barriers and obstacles
  • Has a strong commercial awareness and understanding of the business
  • Demonstrate strong customer focused
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong attention to details and a stickler for accuracy

All the outlets are staffed with licensed pharmacists, registered under Lembaga Farmasi Malaysia. Founders’ background

Lee Meng Chuan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from University of South Australia. He is a qualified pharmacist and has more than 10 years of experience in sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products and management of pharmacies.

His spouse, Lim Sin Yin acquired her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from University of Strathclyde. She is also a qualified pharmacist and has more than 10 years of experience as a pharmacist, stock controller and trainer.

Under their leadership, the Group has grown progressively from a neighbourhood pharmacy in Damansara Uptown to one of Malaysia’s leading pharmacy chain.
