CARGOTEC TERMINAL SOLUTIONS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. (formerly known as “Kalmar (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd”) is the premier supplier of equipment and services to the port industry in Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific region.

As one of CARGOTEC’s three global ‘Competency Centre for Crane Services’ (CCCS), Cargotec Terminal Solutions (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (CTSMSB) provides customised leading-edge engineering solutions and retrofits for Ship-To-Shore (STS) cranes and Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes to our wide customer base in the Asia Pacific region. The other of CCCS are situated in Europe and USA respectively.

CTSMSB is a ISO and OHSAS certified company, with over 200 staff consisting of project managers, engineers, technicians and other management, sales, support and administration team members.

History

Cargotec Corporation has been formed through a series of mergers and acquisitions during the past couple of decades. The Cargotec Corporation was formed in June 2005 when Kone Corporation demerged into two companies to be listed: Cargotec and New KONE. After the demerger, Kone Corporation’s load handling (Hiab), container handling (Kalmar) and marine cargo handling (MacGREGOR) businesses form Cargotec.
